Melissa Snyder

I received my Bachelors of Arts in Education from the University of Kentucky.  After teaching in public and private school settings, I worked for ten years in a faith-based non-profit organization. Through my work and personal experiences,  I developed a deep appreciation for the value of mental health counseling.  I earned a Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Moody Theological Seminary in Chicago.

I grew up in Knoxville, but school, work and family opportunities moved me to other states.  I had some amazing adventures, but I am thrilled to be back home in Knoxville, raising a large, rambunctious family alongside my husband of more than twenty years.
